It’s good that there’s a bit of rebalancing. 25% of the girls at my partner’s school are currently identifying as another gender/non-binary/asexual. It’s clear that for many of them it’s a growing up/anxiety/depression thing rather than actually being trans.
None of that seems particularly controversial, and integrating the trans issues into mental health provision looks like a sensible move.

Surprise surprise, it’s not just “concerns about pushing children into medical treatments”, they don’t want adults transitioning either.
