Can anyone justify rental price regulations?
It’s a way to destroy this country.
The laws to build a new property are very strict, we should make it easier to build more houses, not make it impossible for new people to come.
Price regulations mean no students, no new workers in the city, no innovations, no startups, and no new creative ideas.
I want to bring this up – we must build more so that houses become cheaper and more affordable for young families.

There is over 40k units approved in Dublin that are not being built and 70k nationwide. Planning is not a problem.
Wheres the solution?
The people who are most affected by the housing shortage are the people who are most keen for new people to come here.
You can’t have both.
