With Johnson in charge we can barely talk the Peppa Pig World is very much my kind of place. It has very safe streets, discipline in schools, heavy emphasis on new mass transit systems.
We need to stop greenwashing everything and be more open about our consumption.
Why don’t we concentrate developments on pollution removal capture at source, carbon capture, atmosphere cleansers, processing captured. If we put 1/4 the effort and funding into this as we have into COVID it would be solved by now!
People support measures to reduce emissions, right up until it impacts their lifestyle. If want to walk the walk then people need to accept that our lifestyles need to change drastically.
Counterpoint : this would be awkward and difficult. Therefore doing it is not a priority for the tories.
Very true and yet what actually happens in reality is new coal mines, new gas and oil fields and fuck the environment all because profit is far more important that ever worrying about the future.

Just a reminder that 1.5C warming is not possible anymore and that if every country does what they say during COP26 at the times they say then by 2100 the warming would be 2.4-2.7C.
