  1. Providing a bar in the Dáil was a mistake.

I bet he felt really clever when he came up with “cop yerself on instead of going to cop 26”.

  2. Well fuck off, we are not a big fish. But we do push above our weight. Is he pissed off that Ireland is well respected on the international stage.

  3. What is he whinging about? Like seriously, what was the discussion about. Something to do with energy is all I got

  4. Is he really suggesting that the reason there’s no kettles in some public buildings is because the Government attended Cop 26 and that that is evidence of some kind of dysmorphia in terms of where Ireland sits in the world stage.

  5. >coal mines being opened in Germany, dismantling plants in Ire – the midlands and setting them up out foreign, exporting the port (?) and bringing it back in refined

    >such codology, if the forefathers that fought for this country thought thattheywewould inheritied would be followed on by this madness and lunacy you see they would never have lifted a finger to free Ireland. They would have left it in the United Kingdom….

    >[DANNY HEALY RAE FACE]

    >or they’d have done something else as its a mockery, madness and charade.

    >What was it was it Marie Antoinette who said let them eat cake well I’ll tell you one thing we’d a message this morning to all public buildings not to have a kettle in their office or boil a kettle. Are we going to go back to the barshtinistinoc(?) that the women had on their back carrying with the shawl and the lit em in with a little tripod and the billycan of water and they boiled it? are we going to be doing it out in the yard here of the public offices? Would ye cop yerself on instead of going to cop 26 or 27 or whatever it is. For show and glory and to be seen to be better than anybody else.

    >We’re small fish in a big pond and we should behave with respect for our nation and not to be trying to keep up with all the big boys and make our we’ll drive our people into penury to be as good as what ye are out here when we see what’s happening in China, when we see what’s happening in Germany. We’ve been quoted here this morning several times about Spain ah Spain and Italy who have implemented this regulation. But we won’t implement it at all, we’ll just dance around it and let the taxpayers suffer

  6. what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have
    ever heard.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you
even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

  7. I don’t agree or disagree with the man and it’ll remain that way until I get to grasps with this new language.

  8. Christ he’s an embarrassment, the man is out of another time, these are our best and brightest…. The leaders of our nation.

  9. How long has he been involved in politics/public life/speaking and he still can’t string a coherent thought together?

  10. Hon mattie. Always tells it straight. The city folk laugh and pretend they haven’t a notion what he’s saying. Atleast them boys are representing munster. It was only a few months ago mattie and Co marched into that meeting with the heads of AIB and made them cop on and not close the rural branches.

  11. Say what you like about him he’s right …what we do here won’t change anything on a global scale and we always have to be seen to be the best boys in the class.I read an article about how the U.S. military polute more than 100 countries combined.
