Scams on Facebook

  1. They bother because lots of people apparently have zero awareness. Sure this very thing had been the subject of countless “is this a scam?” posts here. So if you assume there are people who should know better *but still at least ask* there going to be a sufficiently big number of thicks to fall for it.

  2. Why do they bother?

Based on the number of posts on here of people being unsure if it’s a scam or not – because people are dumb. For every one person that posts here there’s one more falling for it.

  3. I had something up on donedeal a while back and approximately 4 people contacted me saying the exact same shit

  4. I got this just this week, I went along with it to see what the scam was. They will send the cash but you must pay 100 insurance PLUS the value of what you’re selling lol! I was selling a bike and asked them if they wanted the 4 wheels on or off for the trailer…they said it was fine on…for the address i gave them the meath head office of DPD….and for money I confirmed they wanted to pay in £ and I was ok to pay the insurance in $ for a bike advertised in euros. Scumbags only left when i asked her to check she was happy with my address.

  5. Agree and send them the address of a travellers encampment.

Wastes their time and if they’re stupid enough to go then there might be one less scammer in the world.

  6. If a guy knocks on your door claiming to be from ups and he’s not wearing any uniform and doesn’t have a id he definitely doesn’t work for ups.

  7. they are not saying anything about filling a form? if its hard cash for the product, why would anyone care? if you get the cash and arent asked to fill out a form with bank details etc…

    or am i missing something?

looks like *they* are sending someone, its not that OP is *hiring* someone to deliver?
