That’s a lovely activity before Christmas! What is the filling?
Very nice!
Thank you.
Used to live with an Italian (from northern Italy). Spent several Christmases doing this (though obviously I was never good enough at it for them!). Pumpkin filling, I seem to recall.
That, and seafood for Christmas dinner (though they did always source a turkey just for me!).
Bellissimi!
Magnifico
Where’s the overly sized portions of super salty, greasy hunks of meat drowning in slimy cheese sauce?
Ah wait, I’m thinking of Italian American food. Completely different.
bologna?
The old Italian mama in the picture basically guarantee that the meal will be heavenly delicious.
Buoni! What’s the real difference between tortellini and cappelletti? In Reggio It’s cappelletti, and in Parma Anolini. Anolini are made differently, with a lot of parmigiano. And Parma Nonna’s are very proud of their recipes. I personally prefer cappelletti, but don’t think I’ve ever tried tortellini.
Looks tasty! How do you keep them fresh/preserved until christmas?
Too early no?
Very nice photo

Il vero spirito del Natale non stá nel mangiare o farsi regali a vicenda, ma nel preparare cibo insieme.
Questo ed Ubriacarsi.
