So he stole thousands from his father via identity theft? Better things to spend it on if I’m honest. Lil degenerate.
Do we honestly believe that a 16 year old was completely unaware of gambling before he attended a single football match? And then this one ad somehow made him commit identity fraud to the tune of thousands of ££?
Read that as Gambling Boy and it conjured the image of the worst superhero ever
They should reduce the amount of gambling adverts that you see. Can’t go anywhere without seeing an advert.
16 year old’s aren’t allowed to gamble so the bets were invalid – the gambling firms should refund the money as they were illegally placed surely?
Unfortunately our government does nothing about predatory gambling mechanics in video games, especially sports games like FIFA, which are hugely popular and played by any child with an interest in football and video games, so, basically all of them. Children play these games from a very young age which groom them to become future gamblers as they use the same physiological tricks that other forms of gambling use to get people addicted, so by the time they can legally gamble they’re ready to jump straight in. As far as the gambling and gaming industry are concerned the only thing bad about this story is he should have waited another 2 years, not the crippling addiction that will eventually ruin this poor kids life unless he gets proper professional help to uncondition his mind from these insidious tactics.
