What are these wood bundles for a tiled stove are called in “Mundart”?

  1. “Bündeli” or “e Biig Holz” I guess.
    But a much more important question is; what do you guys call the tiled stove? Personally I call it “Chouscht”.

  3. In Appenzell it’s called Pöscheli.
    At least you pronounce it with a P. But il not sure if you write ith with B or P.

  4. They’re always used as an example for hot dialects differ from canton to canton but I’ve never actually seen one before

  5. My step-grandfather calls them „pregel“ but I think that’s just his ideolect because everyone else I know uses „pregel“ for really big, heavy sticks, and not for bundles of sticks
