I was one number away from 500k once on the Euromillion plus draw.
The number was 18 and I had 17.
I still won 2k though.

I was one number away from €16m once on Irish lotto. Got €1250. Fuckers.
“Close” numbers are more likely of an outcome than the the actual numbers, since there are more of them. But in terms of winning, they’re as insignificant as any other non winning number. You weren’t close, you just picked numbers. And this does not mean you will pick the right numbers in future or that you are “capable” of it.
You have a better chance of guessing a random persons phone number than you do of winning the lotto. Must do a quick pick…
