  1. So, if a chicken gets avian flu, we kill it? Then we kill every other chicken on the premises… because it might have died from avian flu?

    I assume the farmers are insured against this sort of thing? I suppose some might say it’s lucky in a way? Insurance payout will save them from haggling with Tesco et al?

    Meanwhile, we now get to pay a tenner for a box of eggs rationed to a box a week?
