  1. You’re the expert on dangerousness of this stuff now. So let us now. It’s most likely mold.

  2. I’d reach out to coop or the manufacturer for some kind of explanation and/or compensation. They usually take these kind of incidents seriously

  3. Looks like aspergillus (mould) to me. Won‘t grow without air. Could be opened before or something went wrong in production. This you will notice when you open and there is no vacuum. If you opened it and closed it after then you ate something you should have consumed more quick. You will survive but it is definitely not a proper product.

  4. If it’s outside the glass and the seal was not broken, you will be fine.
Did the jar pop when you opened it? If yes, the seal was intact.

Now, it’s still disgusting and should not happen. It’s most likely a problem at the processing factory. Let them know, you should at least get a refund.

  5. Es ist Rost. Nicht Gefährlich, denn die Dichtfläche ist oberhalb und somit das Lebensmittel nicht kontaminiert.

  6. Chirat products aren’t made in Switzerland anymore, not surprised of such a poor manufacturing quality.

  7. Probably some liquid was spilled over it but maybe not into it.

But more important why do you buy turkish raclette zwiebeli?
    Hugo Reitzel is the way

  8. Looks like a broken seal, if the dirt is also a bit inside and not just on the outside of the cap.

Return it to Coop and get a new one (for free).

  9. If you glance at the label it kinda looks like the dude’s body is obscured by the text and the two onions at the bottom are his giant bollocks.

  10. Ever dropped an M&M on the floor, picked it up and eaten it? You’ll be fine. That looks like rust on the outside of the jar. Not uncommon with metal lids. If the container was sealed when you opened it, you’ll be fine.

Live a little. What won’t kill you will make you stronger.
