  1. Despite the many wars in Europe, some of which speaking to the inherent divisions within Europe, the Napoleonic wars and the two World Wars starting in Europe; I admire the green optimism.

  2. He made a nice map, for the fact that the idea sounds like it was created as a joke together with drunk friends late at night.

  3. Living just outside Vienna, I think living in Canton Marseille sounds rather cool. But I guess the Viennese suburbs would become an legal and administrative nightmare.

    While it may look Austrocentric, I’d argue it is the oposite. Just imagine, building a ring highway around the capital or having to live in the area.

  4. I wonder why there are so many Greek islands that appear Turkish on this map , I’m pretty sure they would have already joined Greece at this point in time.
