  1. Hungary’s parliament will approve Finland’s and Sweden’s bids to join NATO at the legislature’s first session next year, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.

Hungary supports the Nordic countries’ accession, Orban told reporters at a briefing in Slovakia on Thursday, where he came under pressure to speed up the approval from his central European counterparts. Earlier, Hungarian officials had pledged to give their support by year end.

  2. Is he just going to keep on delaying it forever?

We should just call Sweden and Finland honorary NATO members. If they are ever attacked we don’t need the Hungarians or the Turks.

  3. I don’t think anyone actually believes anything he says at this point. Remains to be seen what happens, NATO might go forwatd with the integration of Sweden and Finland through bilateral agreements between the nations most immediately concerned.

  4. Oh he’s learning from Putin nicely, doing the opposite of everything he says. Dogs licking eachother’s ass I see.
