A classic russian strategy
A certified Soviet classic. Look at the Baltics, those countries still have a Russian minority of 20+% to this day, although I’d imagine most want to imagine as Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians by the virtue of enjoying a higher standard of living than in Rodina alone.
Another day, another despicable crime against humanity by Mother Russia.
New century, same old shit from the ruskis. Kidnap and deport whoever they can from newly attacked territories, bring in the destitute from regions deep within Asian parts so that they cannot and will not move from the new place. Then, in a dozen or two dozen years claim that these people are persecuted and can’t speak Russian and invade neighbouring regions. Rinse & repeat.
Hopefully, this is the last time they pull this crap. Hopefully the empire of lies and misery crumbles soon, once and for all. Enough of that – we must do everything in our power to stop this barbarism.
Everyone in Eastern Europe knows this very well. When Ukrainians were being taken to Russia from the occupied territories, everyone in Eastern Europe understood what was about to happen.

Then the old towns turns into russian crapholes and there is no use getting them back without also deporting all the russians there.
