hi Norwegian fisherman, can anyone please help me, I’d like to go fishing next week for trout or char, are there any places where the season is open, if yes what are the best ones ? anywhere from Oslo to Trondheim. thanks!

  1. I would recommend to first figure out where you would like to go and then just call a local sportfishing shop and ask them for advise.
    They will definitely help you out and know the area best.

  2. just make sure you are not alone and properly dressed. its winter and cold water kills quick

  3. Do they really import Sweetwater to Norway? Atlanta, GA, USA seems like an unlikely birth place for a beer consumed in Scandinavia. Not a bad choice, though, if it’s going to be American.

  4. You can fish trout in Østmarka all year round, but you will need to get a fishing license (different options available, for example you can get a “autumn card” that’s valid for the rest of this year for 300NOK).

    I’m sure there are many other options as well, this is just the option I know of.
