  1. Sucker them in, let them see the cherry then fuck them over. Just like the UK likes to do, or the Australians but they don’t have the reputation that we have. Let’s hope.

Well, it had better go that way or I’m voting Green party next time.

  2. Let me guess it had something to do with ensuring a tiny agricultural related industry in the UK got to sell to Australia. For some reason every Tory is obsessed with agricultural related industries but don’t do anything to help farmers in general.

    Brexit: North Sea fishermen

    Boris: cheese

Liz Truss: British apples and selling pork to China

Rishi: grass and traditional English gardens in rural areas

  3. “The UK went into this negotiation holding the strongest hand, holding all of the best cards, but at some point in early summer 2021, **the then trade secretary (Liz Truss) took a decision to set an arbitrary target** to conclude heads of terms by the time of the G7 summit, and from that moment the UK was on the back foot repeatedly,” he said.”

    What a fucking oaf…

  4. We said UK had little trade negotiation experience after years of reaching deals vicariously through EU membership.

    You said “Project Fear”.
