What a cunt, I know he had addiction issues but what a cunt
Good!
It is unfortunate that the girl was injured and the car was damaged and the occupants of the other car suffered. There is nothing else unfortunate in this story.
Wow
>The thief, Dale Fogarty (37), from Clough in Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, was well known to gardaí, and had alcohol and drug addiction issues.
Joe O’Shea was on Monday Night Live last week saying junkies etc. should be moved away from the main streets to protect the public.
He was met with comments about dehumanising people and how it’s a health issue.
Joe O’Shea is right. The number one priority is to make the public safe. I don’t give a shite whatever health issue you have if it endangers others.
This is the type of thing that happens when you just call it a health issue. Innocent people are injured.
Scum. Absolutely no loss to society (a gain actually).
That poor girl and family.

If he had lived, he’d have gotten one hell of a suspended sentence!
Sure the poor lad couldnt help but steal a car and kidnap a young girl. Drink and Drugs are the real demons! His area also didn’t have enough amenities. And it wouldn’t be right to ruin his future over one or two dozen mistakes.
In the last three years members of my family including myself have had intruders in our homes. Walking right on behind us on occasions or taking opportunities when doors were unlocked. Each one has been a person known to the guards with ‘addiction problems’. Luckily, they have been so spaced out we were able to push them out of the homes. In every instance the guards came, took them away and hours later they were back on the streets. No attempts at prosecution.
Not a bad part of town or anything. Each time we have been told it’s lads getting high and going for a wander.
Pity that stab ten years ago didn’t finish him off.
God help all the innocent injured parties.
Another one of thes lads who’s a complete angle I suppose, it’s only a pity there was others involved and injured
Well known cunt, it’s only a pity he didn’t die 20 years ago
> “She is going to be left with life-changing injuries now for the rest of her life. She may never walk again,”
I can’t imagine there are many people mourning the death of this scumbag.
I feel like the kidnapping part is worse than the car theft part. That poor girl. A dangerous man let roam the streets, probably has hundreds of victims before this one.
We really need to lock people up for life who are not fit for society
Apparently the girl was disabled and shattered her hip. Pretty heinous crime and hard to feel sorry for the perpetrator. He also crashed into a car whose occupants were on the way to a wedding. One of them was injured pretty bad.
Seen a good few less than sympathetic comments about the father leaving the car unlocked on Facebook. Don’t know how anyone could be so heartless, the father living with his mistake for the rest of his life
One less
Justice system here is a joke ,I’ve said it a million times there needs to be a juvenile detention, they need to know from a young age that you get punished for committing crimes not a pat on the back because hey he’s only a child…and the older they get the worst the kind of crimes get
We can all be very thankful the scumbag is dead and won’t get off with a suspended sentence as usual.
I’m getting really sick of people being well known to Gardai. Pity they couldn’t do something more substantial than know them.
Car crashes are cleaning these fuckers off faster than judges.
Car Crashes; a great bunch of lads.
Girl left with life changing injuries because filth like this who was “well known to gardai” was allowed to walk the streets.
I have no sympathy for this cunt, I hope thr girl will be fine.
Let me guess, 87 previous convictions and out on bail
Lawless country
I’d say good riddance if his death didn’t also result in the girl ending up in a critical condition. Unsurprisingly his page on RIP.ie seems to have been removed.
