  1. The Queen was the load-bearing central pillar of the whole network. Without her they’ll drop one by one, all the old ones. The same thing happened when Victoria died.

  2. Some sick leave shouldn’t worry anyone, it’s expected when the subject is 85 years old and still hasn’t retired like most humans do 20 years before turning 85.

  3. After Elizabeth II’s passing he’s the oldest monarch in Europe actually. That is if you don’t consider Pope Francis which has hintee that he may retire, and obviously Pope Benedict XVI who’s still technicaly pope, Pope Emeritus. He’s born on 16th of april 1927, so just one year and five days shy to Elizabeth II, and pope Francis is born 17th of december 1936, just three months before king Harald V. Harald V was born on 21st february 1937. If I am correct, the second oldest monarch in Europe should be queen Margrethe II of Denmark.

  4. Hoppas på en snabb återhämtning. Han verkar ha haft lite problem med hälsan under de senaste åren, men han ångar på ändå, Kongen!
