Gave up two years ago and was the best thing for my heart. I was a heavy smoker
Off about four years. Alan Carr’s easy way. Read it again and again after every relapse , hundreds of times. Nearly know it to heart. So happy to be free. Went to a stag recently speaking to mates in a smoking area of club, no temptation . Start today.
Switched to one of them vapes at the start of the year myself after the grandfather told myself and the mother to stop smoking after his cancer diagnosis (fair enough). Down to the weakest amount of nicotine and aiming to get rid of the yoke for 2023. The difference now and then on breathing alone has been insane.
Off them for two and a bit months. This is my third time on the wagon. The last time I quit I lasted 5 years. Feeling a strong longing now tbh as I’ve a divorce heading my way in the near future.
Gonna get the Alan Carr book, I quit before cold turkey and was off them for a year,
but now I just haven’t the motivation to do so, not ready yet as such but planning to set a date, I keep justifying it as “it’s all I have”, as don’t drink much only a handful of times a year and not a mad heavy smoker”, but want to do it eventually, just need to be in the right frame of mind, might aim for over the Christmas when on break
Quit them using vapes. The difference is insane.
I worked out it was far more beneficial to just smoke cannabis & it’s cheaper too.

It’s expensive to smoke in Ireland anyway
