Poor woman needs help fast, so do my many others in this situation, it’s terrible
Its fucking horrible. How much more can we collectively take of these clowns

it’s terrible that people who care for or have Disabilities are struggling while our government ring fence the multi millionaires so they don’t lose 1p of their money while telling everyone else to suck it up
We really need to improve our housing stock. Proper insulation, proper ventilation, that sound not be too much to ask for. I know there is some government support available for people on low income, but it is complicated and not always available.
It seems like such an obvious way to improve both equality and environmental performance. Which is probably why this government is not interested.
The gas and energy companies have told the government to basically f#ck off! They can’t help…they want to to have smart meters in every house so like covid they can control you….
The government [is doing a lot to help](https://helpforhouseholds.campaign.gov.uk/help-with-your-bills/) already and clearly there needs to be targeted support for people with these high-level-of-care needs; but councils have discretionary funding for exactly this kind of stuff on top of the already substantial government support. Energy suppliers also cannot cut-off these people if they go into debt on their energy bills.
In the video, I note all of them bar one person in one clip are sitting around in t-shirts, so it seems to me they aren’t that cold yet – which aligns with it being unseasonably warm well into Novemeber. Presumably they have blankets, jumpers, thermals, etc. for when its colder and haven’t needed to use the heating much yet. If true and they are struggling with bills already (without using the heating), there must something else going on – especially given the support mentioned above. Seems like we’re missing context here.
Finally, is there a medical reason why the 37 year old bloke is so bloated, or is this simply a “calories in are far too high vs. his level of activity”? If the latter, presumably they could save some money and improve this poor gents general health somewhat simply by cutting down on the amount of food going into him.
Imagine seeing your finances as a downward trend line that’s only getting faster and faster and there is nothing you can physically do to stop it.
And the cause of it is some rich pig fucker that decided he wanted a bit more control over the houses of parliament almost a decade ago.
Fucking nightmare.
To be a full-time carer you cannot be in full time education, or work more than 16 hours (it’s close to that anyway). You receive £69(was 67) per week after NI etc, to dedicate 35+hours to caring for someone. It’s a disgrace. They increased it by £2 to “help”.
