I was going up Croagh Patrick once with some people from a hillwalking club, and a fella coming down said there was a wedding going on in the church. We thought he was taking the piss, but when we got to the top there actually was a wedding going on! And one of our group knew the bride. The couple were hillwalkers, and got special permission to get married in the church.

I will be 51 in January. I am somewhat fit (working on it now).
Climbing Croagh Patrick is on my bucket list. I have tried once before and had to turn around after I turned my ankle in 2018.
I am going to attempt the climb again in April of 2023. This time I am going to make it!!!
I hope lol.
My dad dragged me up when I was about 7, told me McDonald’s was at the top. Still feel the anguish of making it to the top to only find that shite 🤣
