Will come in handy if you’ve had a bad pint – no need to worry whether it’s a wet fart or not.

  1. Sorry to blow your mind here, but some men have lady parts that menstruate. If you see a guy use the machine just tell yourself it’s not your business why.

  2. Men have periods too… This is not something that needs to be photographed or discussed unless you’re a transphobe or completely ignorant.

  3. The point that jumps out to me is that the vending machine appears free, and funded by the taxpayer. Meanwhile every other person who needs to avail of these products has to pay a “luxury” tax on them.

  4. Lads, this is all apart of the neoliberal marxist deep state infecting our government – there was a time a man could go in the jacks and walk out with a pack of johnnies, viagra, and a pocket size bottle of lynx africa!

  5. I wonder if the people who have a totally contrived problem with this would even blink an eye if a condom machine was installed there instead.

A condom machine wouldn’t threaten their flimsy masculinity, but is completely inappropriate in a work place.

  6. Jesus, some of the comments in this thread. Mods getting ready with the ban button I hope 😁

It’s just a vending machine who gives a shite 😁

  7. I’m a civil servant working in the Oireachtas but not in the LH complex. We don’t even have machines to buy products from, let alone free ones! Different approach when they know someone is watching I guess!

  8. This does my head in. Trans citizens that identify as male should have access to these hygiene products in whatever bathroom they so choose.

So quit the laughing, sniggering and judgements.

  9. Jesus christ I’m so sick of TERFs being so obsessed with what kind of bits people have in their pants

  10. Trans inclusivity aside, this is also a good idea for non trans women who might desperately need to use the men’s toilet and find that their period has started.

  11. We have them in my university. They’re always empty 😭 I bring my own stuff cause we have pink low quality pads. But it would be handy in a pinch.

  12. Okay. Not every man is Cisgender, it’s good that these services are available.

Edit: also in a society were trans people can be harassed this is a good way for them to get period products without going through awkward exchanges at the checkout.
