I’ve seen the large bars of LX schoggi before, but this was new to me. I always enjoyed the little in-flight chocolates that Swiss hands out on all their flights, so this was definitely a nice but unexpected surprise.
Background: flew from the US to ZRH a few days ago and was the only physician on board (or at least only one who responded to the PA request). Not a huge issue but was my first in-flight emergency. Crew was super helpful and LH group flights apparently carry a lot of medical kit including defib and iv capabilities.
Beside the chocolate also got a voucher towards a future flight, a First class amenity kit and a bottle of wine.
Swiss craftsmanship means that chocolate tastes good, no matter where you are
I got a bag of the ones shaped as mini footballs, during one of big football events. Got it for being on a receiving end of an attendant-coffee-pants incident.
Sounds like you deserved yours much more than I did.
What does the box taste like?
I just wish they handed out dark chocolate too.
Just had a VERY bad experience with Swiss.
Long story short, this Company went in the “avoid at all cost” pile..
I dont wanna know how many I have eaten over the last 5 years when I worked for swiss haha.
I like their chocolates and always ask for two when I fly with them. They taste good!
Do they check if you are a real doctor? Asking for a friend.
Hopefully you didn’t use ALL the insulin.
why wouldnt they put some white wrapped ones in the middle to make a swiss flag :’(
Waw
For a second I thought they were lighters.

I have a friend who is an air hostess and she would routinely bring these to me. 😅
I was given a box like this and a big chocolate bar once because one of a member of the cabin crew spilled a bit of champagne on me. I always liked this chocolate TBH. Putting these out when guests come over always gets funny reactions.

Everyone’s dream.
