Who is to blame when someone gets hit when riding a bike down a motorway to the next exit? Is it the police at exit A or exit B because they didn’t go out of their way to force the person off the motorway and into their van or maybe its the man selling bikes next to exit A who then sends people down a motorway so that they can peddle to exit B.
>In the letter, signed by sixteen relatives as well as charities including Care4Calais, the families listed five demands.
so its not really from the families, they just got them to sign it.
Maybe if they put as much effort into telling their relative not to do something illegal and dangerous they’d still be here.
Sad loss of life but it’s their choice to travel through multiple safe countries to get here and risk their lives.
This sounds shitty and I hate that i’m typing this but er… if they are choosing to illegally travel to the UK, it’s their own fault. That and they should apply in France. Surely, it’ll be quicker, easier to claim ayslum seeker status in france then find thousands of pounds for a trafficker that won’t just take the cash and leave, risk dying.
