Looking cool doesn’t make Europe safer.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to beat the dead horse of Germany dropping the ball on the invasion, they seem to be beginning to make up for it, but I have to firmly reject the invitation to Oooh and Aaah over German armed forces when there’s barely enough political will to clear out dusty warehouses in our collective interest, let alone put soldiers in harm’s way.
Aren’t there any white plate carrier? Gloves and hat can be covered by the jacket, but the bodyarmor not realy.
I see nothing
So they have ski boots with skiis? After using skis they change their shoes or what? Sounds weird.
yeah but they only bouht one whole set of it
where?
Germans are famous for their ugly ski goggles, and this soldier didn’t disappoint.
Just to clarify: On this photo you are seeing the ONE German Army soldier who has received winter gear. This image is not an example of the soldiers in winter gear, this IS the ONLY German soldier who HAS winter gear.

That’s what we call a ‘Serviervorschlag’ in Germany. Pretty sure our troops have never seen a full set of gear. Currently, they still don’t even have enough warm pants. And don’t let me start about those only two days of ammunition which are currently discussed.
Oh no, the karma-hungry horde of ‘this is XYZ in full winter gear’ is incoming
Last winter I saw a group of German soldiers in their white camo training (?) on the Zugspitze. It was storming quite a bit and they were so difficult to see, that they had to stop skiing, because others were running into them.
