Is the rail network made for these trains? The notion I got is that the rails are old and not suited for speedy trains.
I don’t get the use of “Asia-style”, is it Asian exceptionalism from the Asia Times website? Because high speed rail is not any more “Asia-style” (quite the subset of Asia, I add) than “Europe-style”.
