On this day: The anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. This anniversary reminds us that the struggle for freedom is not in vain and that the commitment to the need for the fall of the Lefkosia Wall, the last wall in the capital of a European state, remains steadfast.

why don’t the cypriot youth do the same with the border?
seems like a false equivalence… when there are peace demonstrations here you get maybe 50 people attending.
I will point on an elephant in the room. Both communities at least don’t like each other. These walls are not there to separate one nation with same values but to stop two communities from killing each other.

The Cyprus problem has always been used as a political tool to get votes. Nothing more nothing less.
