Doubt it will change anything, the parties are committed to it and the leaders have the political baggage of supporting it.
“We told you you’d regret Brexit”. Is it too soon to shit-post this?

Also so what?
Nice, it’s already over 55 %
Well. Hindsight is 20/we-fucking-told-you-before
But that doesn’t change anything.
I would like the UK to become a member of the EU again in the future, but re-entry would not be possible under the old conditions, that would not be politically feasible.
Then a pro-EU campaign would have to convince people, let’s rejoin the EU, but on worse terms and we get nothing extra for it.
That would be an incredible shitshow, looking at you Daily Mail, Sun and so on.
And who should lead this campaign? Labour is not a pro EU party, many of their voters voted for Brexit and the Tories have had this song for years now, Brexit will be fantastic and what a terrible construct the EU is, they can’t possibly argue pro EU for the next few years.
And realtalk, Edward Davey is not the person I would have in mind if I wanted to launch a politically complicated campaign in the UK…
What does Ja Rule think of Brexit ?
This Britons are quite quick to catch up with a mistake.
Any change in the uk’s actual position will take time.
Right now the political deadlock of 2019 is still too fresh for a lot of voters. ‘Get Brexit Done’ was a successful slogan not just because it argued for getting Britain out if the EU but also because it proposed that the chaos of brexit would be over. Now whilst the past 3 years have shown that is a load of, to quote Vince Cable, bollocks there remains a strong desire, both from the public and politicians, not to reopen the arguments.
The most that should be expected is if the conservatives are kicked out at the next election (which currently looks highly likely) then there will be less active antagonising on Northern Ireland (that topic won’t go away entirely though) and some moves on wider cooperation like erasmus and horizon.
The earliest occasion we could see full arguments for things like the single market is the 2029ish GE and even then I think the one after that would be a safer bet.
