Just to clarify, it’s not mentioned in the instructions or packaging
Is it an IR receiver? Weird.
Weird, seems to be an audio jack on the end. Looking at it i would guess it’s for audio left and right and a microphone.
Possibly for voice input on the tv, alexa type stuff. I have a new enough LG tv and i know the remote has a little microphone in it for that sort of stuff. Might be the same idea

Looks like a remote IR receiver. Would come in handy if the TV is placed in some sort of frame.
It’s handy if your tv box is stored in a cabinet and not in direct line of fire for the remote
Remote control receiver.
I’m not sure if it’s a receiver or transmitter. It could be used to send the remote control to settop boxes in a cabinet.
Plug it into the TV point the remote control at the TV and press a few buttons. Have your camera phone pointed at the wizard bag and see if you see any flashe of ir coming off it. Camera phones often pick up ir it’s a handy way to test a remote control
You plug it into the tv and connect the two round looking things to your nipples to get sky sports
Infra-red buttplug
They shoot Lazer beams at TV licence inspectors

It’s for nipple motion. Some games require it.
