They’re innate, Dev and John Charles McQuaid tried to ban them but Michael Collins and Miggeldy’s aunt said down with that sort of thing so they shot Mick and herself hid in the copper mines in Beara.
They are innate. A born blind person who has never seen these behaviours will do them too.
