They HAVE to be doing this on purpose. On minister saying one thing and another completely contradicting them so they can just blame the general public for not following guidance.

How about the government stop trying to micromanage people’s social interactions? Only a complete weirdo would take government advice on this kind of thing anyway.
We had the ridiculous situation where we were advised whether we should or shouldn’t hug people, whether we could meet people in our gardens, whether we could shake hands etc. Who even listens to this or follows it?
People will be asking for guidance to tell them when they can go for shit next. It’s mad – we don’t need guidance on these things, and who listens to this nonsense anyway? Hug who you want, kiss who you want ffs
