Anti-5G pressure group wins day in Court on December 13

  1. I suppose these were the people in the past who’d have pitch forks and be burning women on bonfires for being witches when in fact they knew a bit about local medicinal plants etc.

  2. So they’ve got a Judicial review against Public Health England who, as far as I’m aware, have no 5G installations and none planned.

Yeah, the only winner here can be Michael Mansfield KC.

  3. We’ve got climate crisis, cost of living, overpopulation, rollback on rights and democracy and folk decide this is the thing they need to get behind

  4. While these people are nuts. I do think there’s a discussion to be had over whether we really *need* to have our airwaves filled ever more densely with radiowaves.

    Who does it really benefit?

  5. I remember all this bullshit with 3g and then 4g. I’m sure I’ll see more bullshit when they invent 6g. My phone is currently on 5g and I haven’t grown an extra arm. I also had 4 Covid vaccinations over the last 2 years and Bill Gates still hasn’t hijacked my brain and drove me into a wall.

  6. >“The work on the Court bundles has been enormous. The commitment of our team has been outstanding and the preparation of documentation quite astonishing” says Action Against 5G. The group has been 0reparng its case for nearly three years.

3 years. That’s an awful lot of crayon

    >“We bring this case because we lack confidence in Public Health England. PHE has dismissed warnings from government and independent scientists including many Scientific Committees for Health and the evidence of thousands of peer-reviewed scientific papers. Instead, it accepts outdated opinions from unreliable and unaccountable agencies

    Pot, meet Kettle…

    >“5G will result in unprecedented exposure to a particular type of phased radiation at frequencies that have never been used in consumer applications. Experts warn that the effects of the combined exposure with existing radiation from GSM, 3G, WiFi, 4G will cause serious damage to health. There is already a substantial body of evidence demonstrating that existing radio frequency exposures are harmful to health”, says the Group.

Microwave links have been around since forever, and are higher frequency than 5G

  7. Their website is a hilarious contradiction on nearly every other line.

It seems this whole “group” is just that one QC.

    My fav

    >We are not opposed to technology, we are opposed to untested tech. We want safe technology. In 2019 we were promised full fibre by the government which is less harmful, but this is not being upheld.

    And then later on

    >When I heard about the plan for 20,000 satellites over head with all sorts of connected domestic devices and self driving cars, sensors and cameras on lamp posts, I was immediately concerned about privacy and freedom. I do not want to pay for my food with facial recognition or travel in a driverless car or have robots looking after the elderly or teaching children in a classroom.

Sounds like you are there “Karen, Wiltshire”, totally legitimate real person

  8. The sun has much more powerful and legitimately dangerous radiation, yet these people will still be on the beach in the summer time soaking up as much as they can.

  9. Why do we entertain these idiots?

5G is no more bad for you than 4G, or 3G, an infrared heater, or any other non-ionising radiation.

  10. These anti-5G conspiracy theories among other are known to originate from Russia, pushed to destabilise western societies.

Why MI5 is asleep at the wheel?

  11. FFS all the pollution and the political corruption that enables it and these idiots are wasting everyone’s time with a pretend problem.

  12. I was working for Nokia way back in 1997 when the whole ‘phone near your ear will fry your brain’ thing started. People calling up asking how to stop the phone from frying ya’ brain. What could we say apart from if you’re concerned don’t use your phone.

Then they started making the manufacturers list the SAR value of the phones, again customers calling up saying the SAR value was to high. Honestly, really couldn’t win.

  13. So i was Head of Security for a mobile network and then worked doing Cyber Security at one of the mobile industry bodies and i can tell you that the money spent on independent research on if 3G/4G was significantly dangerous and unhealthy was in excess of a few million quid and interestingly nothing was found. These people are fucking crackers!!!

  14. The article suggests 5G is using a new type of “phased radiation”. Can anyone hazard a guess what they think phased radiation is and does?

  15. Hope they get schooled at length about how stupid they are by experts painfully slowly explaining why 5g is not dangerous in agonising detail. Fucking inbreds.

  16. Considering 5G has less radiation than all forms of visible light leys just lock them in a pitch black room and be done with this madness.

All their evidence comes from unemployed Tony down the pub anyway.

  17. The anti vaccine / 5G guys were protesting outside my office all day the other week. Not as us; but at doctors and researchers attending a medical conference in Leeds.

They were really obnoxious, getting right into peoples faces and screaming at them they they were murderers for vaccinating people. They had signs and banners comparing the covid vaccine to the holocaust.

Out of curiosity, a colleague went out to talk with them. They’re absolutely unhinged. They gave him a copy of their newspaper “The Light”.

I had a quick read, it’s complete nonsense. Particularly the stuff about 5G (they’re always on the same bandwagons aren’t they?). Even if you knew nothing about either side of the 5G thing you could easily tell there’re talking shite because they manage to contradict themselves over and over again in the same article. It’s just word salad really.

But the people we saw that day were a really nasty bunch.
