Beamish > Murphys > Guinness

  1. They are all disappointingly shite out of the can. Yet I still buy them.

Love a Murphy’s when I happen upon the rare pub that has it.

  2. Lidl’s crafty brewing stout is the best value stout available in my opinion. Blows the macros away. O’Hara’s Leann Follain is great too but about another euro more expensive.

  3. I feel like sometimes people have this mentality that mainstream = bad and if that’s your opinion fair enough and I feel as though because Guinness became so popular in the last few years again among young men that there is now a pushback against it lol

I think Guinness is the best of the three, then Beamish, then Murphy’s

  4. Beamish Guinness Murphy’s for me if in a can.

They all taste better on Tap though.

If on Tap then Guinness Beamish Murphy’s.

Few more weeks and I’ll have a few on Tap =).

  5. I think we can all agree they’re all lovely drinks… so with such a fine selection at hand, how did Islands Edge happen?

It’s the equivalent of the under cover gardai at festivals trying to blend in with the crowd but is quite clearly failing and is actually a prick, who supports Fine Gael.

  6. I’d go the opposite, Guinness>Murphy’s >Beamish. Murphy’s is fairly daycent but Guinness is good for ya. The only use for Beamish is tearing the hole out of yourself repainting the jacks

  7. I’ve been enjoying some cans of beamish recently. Pin prick the can with a needle to let the gas out, then using the Guinness nitro surge device makes for a lovely pint of beamish at home.
