Background info: aanrijding op het spoor tussen Aalter en Brugge with huge delays on the axis of our railways between the coast and Brussels. Yes what a joyful start of a week where commuters have to worry if they can their train properly and relying on the ‘minimale dienstverlening’…
Let’s hope the strike will be on time.
Yeah it was nice to leave work after a really long day and get to the station to see a board full of delays.
I’m so glad I’m getting a company car. After 3 years of constant delays and misery I’m finally free… to sit in files every day. But at least I don’t have to commute to an office anymore.
Those screens give me PTSD. I’m so happy to work from home.
No, this is just Monday
The last 3 times i rode from wallonia to Ghent ‘people on the tracks in Schaarbeek’ caused massive delays. What’s up with the rail walking trend in Schaarbeek lol?
Ahh, stressing about trains being late at Dampuurte Stoase. I don’t miss it one bit.
Does anyone known where to see which trains will travel and which won’t ? Because the app show every train with a warning about the strike and saying to verify… by checking the app…
They’ve been practicing for decades.
It’s the non-striking train drivers striking to express their dissatisfation with the strike of the striking train drivers
Looks like a normal Monday to me
Just go to Eeklo. A wonderful life full of satisfaction awaits there.
Huh didn’t we just had a strike? I don’t even know why they are striking.
Tuurlijk personeel is nog op brugverlof
“Voordrinken”
I’m so happy I got a job closer to home so I can ride my bike to work.
Japan should be their next teambuilding event.
And then some people talk with a straight face about building a new nuclear plant. The technology of railroads was solved in the 19th century, fyi.
If only they didn’t sell basically every train and wagon they owned to some shady Delaware companies 20 years ago, they could be upgrading things by now. but instead they’re stuck with contracts that will last another 10 years or so

I understand strikes are a necessary evil, but fuck you for making MY job infinitely harder and more stressful because of it.
The only thing that really baffles me is that the NMBS is transporting more people than ever, so they are getting more ticket sales than ever. Then why do they structurally always seem to have a money shortage?
Train tickets are really expensive (44 EUR from Antwerp to the coast return ticket for example), so why is it so hard to organize the train system in a cost effective manner? Serious question, I would like to know.
It’s Tuesday today, so probably will be a 4 day strike
You’re a very insensitive person… Someone lost their live to cause those delays
Yep
Business as usual at NMBS.
This disaster forces my wife to work from home, she ain’t mad tho.
