  1. A friendly reminder that our prime minister, the Tory wanker, self proclaimed “no working class friends” Sunak cuts department funding while watching the poor get poorer, probably while eating M&S jaffa cakes and getting head off his billionaire wife.

  2. My wife has a personal budget of £15-20 per week so she can feed kids who use her learning support centre that she runs at secondary school.

It sounds very charitable and all that, but unfortunately it really is depressingly very normal in UK schools.

  3. My son goes to a sen school. Every year they ask for bits to make Xmas boxes to send to other sen schools abroad in poorer countries.

Yesterday the letter said can we donate food to make boxes for pupils and their family’s over Xmas.

I will be honest I nearly cried. What the fuck has happened when we allow family’s with severely disabled children to need other parents to help buy them food for Christmas.

  4. Fiancé is a primary teacher and spends so much money on school supplies for kids and her evenings cutting out resources and laminating them at home all at her own expense.

    Fuck the government.

  5. I was spending £15-£20 a week on breakfast bars when I worked in a school in a deprived area. By the end, I was getting so many kids I didn’t know, didn’t teach, but who had heard I was giving out food freely.

    Our kids are being failed.
