I signed the petition for 50+1 last year for giving fans bases a control or stake in their clubs but yet to see much action on this, but why would I? With the Tory party completely splintered and a seemingly non stop merry go round of leaders, it is probably pretty low down their priorities. Despite the fact football ,and our love of it, could be a policy area where they could score a big win if they wanted to. But no. It’s UK PLC ( some MPs say this with a straight face too) so all is for sale, even our culture.
