Maandag en vrijdag is er de gebruikelijke hinder.

How hard can it be to automate the driving and stopping of trains? Model trains can do it, so is security on the tracks the only thing stopping this? Can an AI be trained to be as good as a real person when driving a train and (trying to) avoid collisions?
How hard can it be to scan an EID when entering/leaving a train so payments are automatic?
I can’t help but think about the McDonalds cashiers and how they are being replaced by kiosks to process customer orders. Will the same happen to train drivers and ticket controllers?
