Hello,
Does Finland have taxes on savings like [the Netherlands Box 3: Assets and savings](https://www.iamexpat.nl/expat-info/taxation/dutch-tax-system) . For example would you be taxed if you have more than 60k in your bank account?

I dont think so, atleast i havent heard of anyghing lkke that.
I think you meant to ask if Finland taxes your bank interest gains? I don’t know so will need to wait for others to reply.
No, you only pay 30% tax for the interest.
There used to be a wealth tax that was repealed in 2004, but it didn’t apply to bank account savings.
Your savings as such are not taxed. But you do pay a capital gains tax on interest payments.
Does anyone know if retirement investment funds are also taxed full?…
Many countries provide relief, so you can depend less on the state services as you are elderly; if they tax it at capital gains, you will be saying bye to a large chunk of your retirement funds, so it doesn’t make sense to retire in Finland for those cautious enough to save for retirement.
Yearly capital gains under 1000€ are tax free.
No, but we will when Sanna hears about this possibility
And I thought our taxes were orwellian… but no, we dont have that.
