How else do you eat it? Yesterday I tried to do it with knife and fork, but those “mosselen” became “smosselen” (you see what I did there)
Moules frites with a side of hands? Count me in next time
Ah, mussels with fries and some tartare sauce can be so damn good. Had them twice this year, I believe, and it’s enjoyable every time.
Caaaaaarl
Those fries are dangerously close to disqualifying the dish as Moules Frites.
Fat shaming fries is OK, skinny > fat fries.
Funny to see how people are first to critique the fries, yet probably are also eating fries not fitting the bill on a weekly base. Let’s just agree that the quality of Belgian fries has decreased immensely over the years. In my area, I have no clue which friterie still uses ossewit and handcuts their fries. It’s all vegetable oil and factory pre-cut fries.
My pleasure 🧐
Good camera quality!
They are great but found my body is allergic to the mussels. 😔
