I had these delicious things at an event breakfast and I have no idea what they are. Chocolate on the outside, seeds on the top and a soft center that was between cookie and bread in consistency.

  1. It honestly looks like a spin off of something called “chocolate salami”, it’s a Portugese treat, you can goggle that (except they shaped it into triangles, covered in chocolate and the seed mix)… There is also something called “bajaderka” which used to be made from cake scraps in chocolate with some alcohol too, also just shaped like a triangle, coated, with seeds.

  2. It’s quite clear that what we’re seeing here is fucking diabetes.

  3. Looks similar to a cake known as “chatka Puchatka” or “chatka baby Jagi”, but some sort of healthy version with seeds.

This has nothing to do with Polish cuisine, must be some sort of culinary invention of the chef/cook.

  4. What’s under the chocolate? Layered wafers with filling?

Edit: I read the caption under the photo just now. I think this is a spiced up version of pischinger (like this: https://delektujemy.pl/przepisy/pischinger/)

The wafers inside are layered with filling in-between (chocolate, caramel, jam, etc), and they get soft a chewy as they absorb the moisture.

  5. Who cares what it is? Let’s eat this beautiful m****rf****r

Apparently, they are called “German Nut Corners” or “Nussecken.” I never had them, but they do look delicious.

  7. Where did you have them? In my area there are spelt cakey triangle bars, made of a darker sponge and covered with sunflower seeds, sesame and something honey-like. The edges are chocolate. My store calls them batoniki orkiszowe, literally spelt bars.

  8. Looks like Nussecke
Very sweet food that people in Germany tend to eat quite often from what I’ve seen

  9. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but I’m never falling for this one, never.

  10. A Luxembourger made something that looked exactly like these for День Знаний when I was in school in Yakutia
