Reminder – if you’re at risk, get Prep! It’s free from sexual health clinics and can be taken to prevent you from becoming infected with hiv.
If you’re not on Prep but have been exposed to hiv, as long as you act within 72 hours, you can get emergency PEP treatment from sexual health clinics or hospital accident and emergencies. Taking it can still prevent an infection even though you’ve been exposed.
