This is starting to sound rather desperate. Nobody’s denying the result of 2021, where the SNP won the elections to a parliament which does not have the power to call an independence referendum…
Sorry, but it’s the SNP that are giving me the nationalist populist vibes, especially the finding an enemy to hate on. Looking at the share of the vote SNP didn’t get a majority of the vote or a majority of seats in the parliament. It got 48% on the constituency vote, 40% on the regional vote and 49.6% of seats.
BTW I’ve no problem with a referendum or independence, but there has to be rule of law and if the law says UK parliament has to decide then that’s what it is.
Is she going to stop denying the once-in-a-generation decision in 2014 then?
Going for the nuclear option already. Nicola is getting desperate after being kicked into reality by the supreme court.
Would this be the 2021 election where the majority of voters supported pro-union parties?
I thought it was the law of the land that denied the referendum?
Are we all “Trumpian” now?
The decision by the Supreme Court was a totally predictable and one hundred percent expected (by everybody including the SNP) legal, not political, judgement, which said SNP are exploiting best they can to make political haystacks out of, while the media are willing to shine their studio spotlights on them.
As for the Conservative and Unionist Party opposing the referendum, tell us something we don’t know, please. The SNP had their chance eight years ago and blew it.
