You mean like that pesky European Convention on Human Rights that’s getting in the way of exploiting people?
Imagine a hugely impressive model structure, a castle say, built from modular interchangeable bricks from a well-known Danish brick supplier and those obtained from an online purveyor of copycat knock-offs.
Suddenly you are raided by enforcers who insist you remove all bricks deemed illegal by a certain date, say next week.
There’s 479,032 randomly mixed bricks in the model. What will be the state of the model once the week is up?
Apparently in response to the concern of workers rights. The government sent the TUC a copy of the 1997 classic Sway by Coal Chamber.
Scrapping rules is fine, if they are replaced with thought-through alternatives as a Brexit bonus.
Just getting rid of rules businesses have been working to for years and replacing them with blank pages is an idiotic incompetent and disastrous recipe for chaos.
This is what Brexit was about though. It was about taking back control of our law-making and using that control to make Britain work for the Tories. This includes taking a hatchet to workers’ rights and making it easier to keep people afraid of doing anything that might risk them their jobs.
For me this is one of those things where I realised just how crazy the situation in the UK had become over Brexit.
The fact that Business leaders and worker representatives started sending out literal *joint statements* is truly remarkable, probably unprecedented and one would have thought it might have recieved serious consideration, but it was swept aside like the rest of reality…
Of course they do all these Businesses have ever cared about is profits
A picture of grant whatever your fucking name is , that says it all these cunts are just on a ego trip that’s out of control.
