“Robin of Poolbeg” – a photo I took on my lunch break today when I cycled down to Shellybanks

Saved the photo I have an obsession with the poolbeg chimneys and the skyline with them in it (I don’t know why) and this photo is being saved because it’s done so perfectly you have the full chimney in the photo you have the beautiful robin and then the cranes from the dock lands in the background

    I want to call bullshit about it being done on your lunch break as a quick snap because it is truly a beautiful picture well done you I absolutely love the photo and look forward to seeing you post more

A side question, Ive lived in Sandymount most of my life, and although Im aware of the term Shellybanks I couldnt tell you exactly where it starts and finishes just that it’s referring to some area near the powerstation. is it the beach area past the nature reserve? or is it area just before the wall out out the Lighthouse? or is it the whole left side of the beach where it meets the path?
