Is google maps wrong or is Waterford city actually in Kilkenny?

1. Well ain’t that interesting. The border for Kilkenny is on the Suir. It looks like Waterford City is in No-Man’s Land

2. I think I understand it. Waterford city is a different political zone, apart from Waterford county. Thats why its showing like this on google maps

5. You’re 100% correct. Part of Waterford City IS 100% in Kilkenny. Just like part of Carrick on Shannon is in Roscommon.

7. Waterford has two main administrative areas, the city and the county. That’s probably what the map is picking up on

8. Part of Carlow town is in Laois. I remember a kid having to travel to Portlaoise for vacinations, the border went through his house but his bedroom was on the Laois side.
