  1. Yet another church scam. Does absolutely nothing.

Not even worth the stamp on the letter.

They just draw a pencil line through your name, “doom you to hell” by labeling you a heretic..

But claim your “bond with god” can´t be seperated by humans so they still can feel justified in judging you.

Oh yeah. And still claim their piece of the tax cake by baptism numbers. This does not remove you from that list.

Two thumbs down. 5/7 would not get baptised again.

  3. Those are rookie numbers, gotta pump those numbers up

Germany does more than 100 times that in a year, and they don’t have 100 times our population.

Of course they don’t make you keep financing religions after you left them.

  4. I’m one of them. Got a letter from catholic church that my decision was entered next to my name in the baptism register.

Even though it has no real impact, it comforts me that I did everything to distance myself from the catholic church.

On another note: there is a heavy debate going on in the UK about politic representation of the church:

  5. You know what. I was baptised. I could not give a flying fuck. I do not respect the churches ‘authority’ enough to even let them know. Unregistering your baptism, means that you actually think being registered as baptised means something.

  6. Odd story. I tried to be one of these 5000. More out of principle, since i knew it wouldn’t make any difference.

I sent them my motivation and asked to please remove me as a baptised person. Fun fact: I’m part of a twin. So … They answered me ‘hi… Are you *twins name* , we do not have ‘fluffypuffys’ in our registry ‘.

Turns out they only registered my sibling and not me, all this work for nothing
