Made an appointment with a specialist in October, first available date was January and now its been rescheduled to March. It’s a urgent to me but not life threatening. This is frustrating.

4 month wait is not that bad. 6 months is bad… If it’s urgent call them…
I called in November and I got one for next week, I was lucky.
Urgency can be set by your GP
Urgent to me
I just look all across Belgium for a spot. Have had appointment at UZ Leuven, OLV Aalst, UZ Gent, etc.
U should try Hasselt virgajesse , i made An apointment of tuesday and i could go on money already
Call your housedoctor and have him/her make an appointment. If it is urgent, you will be seen sooner.
If it is just a “regular” thing that is urgent (e.g. broken leg) go to a regional hospital. If you really REALLY need knowledge, are a special/rare case, then go to a University hospital.
UZ are often a long wait (because “better”/more knowledgeable perceived), regional hospitals can admit you a lot faster!
Also go to your GP, he knows where to send you, and which doctors are best, plus he can get you in faster.
Why are you sharing this with us?
Same happened to me & i made an appointment elsewhere, got one 7 days later, turned out i had Colon cancer so don’t let it wait :).
