The FT article says Thierry Breton, the EU’s commissioner in charge of implementing the bloc’s digital rules & Musk had a video meeting today. The EU’s approach is so out of step with Musk’s, I doubt he’ll come around to them. Maybe, as with Apple, he thinks having a fight with the EU will be good for publicity?
Europe, the bastion of freedom
How does the EU define disinformation?
I honestly think in years to come people will write books and film mini-series about how twitter fell from $44bn to $0 in a year. I’m not a twitter user but from what I see from the media there is nothing he’s done so far that has caused the general public to have faith Twitter has a future. It seems to be like a soap opera of madness!
Who knew that ignoring regulators wouldn’t simply make them go away.
