Georgia Officially Rejects 3+3 Format (bringing together Armenia, Azerbaijan, and three regional neighboring powers, Turkey, Iran, and Russia)

  1. Good for you guys! The format makes no sense for Sakartvelo. It’s a redundancy that gives even greater allowance to entities that don’t have a Sakartvelian interest in mind.

  2. I don’t think this is a good idea. Refusing to talk to big players in the region is stupid. It’d have been better to attend this and simply reject whatever they offer if it doesn’t suit Georgian national interests, it’s not like attending meetings automatically means you accept everything they tell you to do.

  3. Good for Georgia, unfortunately we have no saying as of 2021. Hopefully the turco-russian allience won’t destroy whatever remains of Armenia.

  4. As the only two striving democracies, Armenia and Georgia need to start speaking in the same language, this will help reduce Russian leverage, normalize relations with Turkey and most importantly counter authoritarianism in the region, which is the main reason EU/US should support this cohesion.
