I’m from an inner city area close to east wall where the government have recently housed asylum seekers. The sentiment of locals here has been overwhelmingly negative. Blocking the port tunnel obviously will not bring about desired results however the disdain for working class people in these comments are pretty shocking even by the usual standard of this subreddit.
